CD12SSO-FD12 x 12 x 6.25" deep with Side Outlet, 12 gauge, all type 304 (CF8) stainless steel square industrial floor drain with loose set anti-tilt extra-heavy-duty perimeter drainage cover, 1/2" top plate frame, perforated removable bucket basket with lift handle, pre-sloped bottom sump, and pre-pour concrete stabilizing anchor ring.
Why side outlets?
- Limited vertical space
- In some construction situations there may be obstructions or limited space beneath the floor, making a vertical outlet impossible. A side outlet allows for horizontal pipe connections.
- Specific plumbing configurations
- Side outlets can simplify plumbing layouts in certain applications, especially retrofit projects.
- Shallow installations
- They are very helpful in shallow installations where a traditional vertical drain would not fit.
