Lead time for pot (area) stainless drains is very short — we stock almost all outlet sizes. Large orders (over 30) typically take 3–7 days to fabricate.

Stainless trench drains are made to order. We have many designs already drawn up; standard designs typically take 2–5 weeks, and fully custom trenches 4–8 weeks after shop drawings are approved. Lead times are occasionally longer due to current workload.

Yes — about 60% of our business is fabricating open trough and slot drains. Open trough trenches come standard with bar grating, or optional solid plate with perimeter drainage, mostly used where forklifts and pallet jacks are common. Slot drains are economical, attractive and easily sanitized since there are no grates or covers.

Trenches are available in any length and many sizes according to flow volume. Most open trough trenches are 4"–12" wide, with the depth needed to hold all water and move debris to the sump basket. If our standard options don't fit, we custom make a trench to your requirements.

Trench drains are fabricated at two shops in the U.S. Midwest, centrally located between the coasts. Transit to either coast is 2–5 days depending on location. We ship throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Yes. All of our drains meet USDA, FDA and CFIA sanitary standards for the food processing, pharmaceutical, beverage and dairy industries.

When we submit a quote, we have a firm commitment from our suppliers for your stainless material delivery. Suppliers are currently guaranteeing pricing for only 3–4 days from the quote date.

Only stainless steel made in the USA. All drains come standard in T304, with 316L as an option.

Stainless grades differ in composition and alloys, which gives slightly different physical properties. 304 is a high-quality food-grade stainless widely used for worktops and sinks: stain-resistant in normal use, it will not rust and is suitable for direct food preparation, with limited chemical resistance — so it's used widely in catering, healthcare, washroom and veterinary settings.

316 adds alloys that increase resistance to acids and other corrosive chemicals, so it's generally installed in laboratories or industrial settings where those chemicals are common.

Stainless steel is 100% recyclable — the "real green deal" in LEED design-build. Its corrosion resistance, strength and appearance give it a wide range of industrial and consumer uses.

Stainless is an iron and chromium alloy containing at least 10.5% chromium; the exact composition varies by grade and intended use, and is strictly measured throughout alloying. Other metals and gases are added to increase corrosion resistance, resist high or low temperatures, improve strength, weldability and formability, or control magnetism.
