It's our standard practice to form trench drain bodies with 12GA stainless steel material at a minimum thickness. But why, you may wonder?

• It's 28.61% thicker than 14GA material & real cost to use is minimal.
• Easier to field weld together at job site.
• 14-16 GA tends to warp during field welding.

One size does not fit all. We design and manufacture trench drains to meet the highest quality standards for all customers - from the multi-million dollar corporations to the family owned, one man butcher shop down the street.

Most of our stainless drain designs are tried and true work horses for 30+ years. There’s a reason why we stock 12” Stainless drains, clean outs, P-traps, hub drains, laterals; simply because stainless drain products are needed to fast track projects.

Always bear in mind that the specific conditions for a floor drain can differ based on its intended use. For example, a floor drain in a food processing facility may have additional requirements compared to one in an industrial setting.
